Annie Nichols serves as the US Carbon Removal Sourcing Manager for Carbonfuture, a climate tech start-up offering a digital platform that tracks carbon from the air to the ground, translates this carbon removal into verifiable credits, and enables the scalable trade of these credits for real climate action. Annie holds a Master of Science in Sustainability Management from Columbia University and has worked in a multitude of positions helping organizations improve their environmental sustainability. Annie specializes in biochar-based carbon removal and works with 45+ biochar producers across North and South America to scale carbon sequestration to gigatonne level.
