President
Mr. Piñero is President of EcoMetrics LLC, helping disseminate this methodology that identifies, quantifies, and monetizes environmental, economic, and social co-benefits resulting from nature-based solutions and ecosystems services projects. He has worked in the private and public sectors as a consultant to many clients on sustainability, environment, and energy. He was Head of Standards and Assurance for the Alliance for Water Stewardship, Director of Water Programs for the US BCSD, served as Senior Vice President for Sustainability for Veolia North America., as well as the Federal Chief Sustainability Officer in the White House. He has Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from the State University of New York and Master of Science degree in Geology from Texas A&M University.
