Cryptoeconomist and Technical Project Manager
Jakob is a researcher focussing on socio-technical systems. He has recently defended his PhD thesis at the Research Institute for Cryptoeconomics, part of the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU). Prior to his PhD he has earned a Masters degree in Digital Currencies at the University of Nicosia. In his 4 years at the institute he has worked on projects with start-ups, governments, central banks and large international organizations such as the World Bank Group. He continues to hold lectures at the university, presents research at conferences and takes part in hackathons. He currently works on cryptoeconomics systems through advisory and consulting, as well as with the engineering firm BlockScience.
