CEO
Dr. Samaha is a serial entrepreneur and investor with over 30 years of experience. She specialized in US deregulated energy market, launching a series of start-ups and managing the acquisitions into large multi-national companies such as AES-Constellation Energy, ABB and GE. In Europe she worked with ABB-Zurich and Alstom & Areva – Paris integrating start-up ventures.
Currently she is the CEO of Synthesis Venture Fund Partners and the Born Global companies which focuses on technology and process innovation acceleration in the Bioeconomy intersection of Waste Energy & Food.
She holds a BS- Electrical Engineering from Boston University, an MBA in Entrepreneurship from Babson and a Ph.D in the Diffusion of Influence from Fielding. She founded the international forum the Bordeaux Energy Colloquium, the Beirut Ethics Colloquium and is an adjunct professor of Business Ethics at AUB (American University of Beirut)
